About

Micky MacLeod is a Melbourne-based tattoo artist specialising in bold traditional tattooing.

Before stepping into tattooing, he spent years painting, exhibiting work in galleries, running independent art shows, and creating large-scale murals for both public and private clients. That background as an artist continues to shape every tattoo, with an emphasis on strong composition, balance, and designs that stand the test of time.

Influenced by the artists who laid the foundations of traditional tattooing, Micky’s work is built around heavy black, bold colour, and clean, readable designs. Rather than chasing trends, his focus is on timeless tattoos that will look just as strong decades from now as they do the day they’re made.

Whether it’s a custom piece or a classic flash design, every tattoo is approached with longevity in mind. The goal is simple: create honest, well-built tattoos that age well and stay true to the traditions that inspired them.

Outside the studio, Micky continues to paint and draw, believing that constantly making art away from the tattoo machine is essential to becoming a better tattooer.
